Life Mirrors Your Perspective 1

Dr. Albert Einstein once said the most important question you can ask yourself is how you see the world:

“The most important question you can ever ask is if the world is a friendly place.” -Albert Einstein

Einstein explained his statement further:

“For if we decide that the universe is an unfriendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to achieve safety and power by creating bigger walls to keep out the unfriendliness and bigger weapons to destroy all that which is unfriendly and I believe that we are getting to a place where technology is powerful enough that we may either completely isolate or destroy ourselves as well in this process.

If we decide that the universe is neither friendly nor unfriendly and that God is essentially ‘playing dice with the universe’, then we are simply victims to the random toss of the dice and our lives have no real purpose or meaning.

But if we decide that the universe is a friendly place, then we will use our technology, our scientific discoveries and our natural resources to create tools and models for understanding that universe. Because power and safety will come through understanding its workings and its motives.”

So, please take a minute to reflect your answer to Dr. Einstein’s question, for it surely colors the experiences life reflects back to you. The following exercise may assist you in understanding your core premise about life:

Challenge:

What resonates with you –  reading this script from the top down or from the bottom up? When you read both ways, how does it make you feel? Answering and analyzing the two preceding questions will supply information regarding your perspective on life.

Perspective 11745415_10153186580628264_8402710702967145217_nAre you an optimist or a pessimist? Do you see the glass half full or half empty? Does hope and faith reside in your heart or not?

Do you wake up in the morning with a feeling of dread or joyous gratitude?

Do you feel connected, safe, and secure or disengaged, disillusioned, separate or endangered?

Your current mental condition stems from thoughts, opinions, beliefs; the programming stored in your psyche’s hard drive called the subconscious.

The world is a proverbial roller coaster these days, the media and news outlets sensationalize the darker side, mostly presenting daily horror shows.

Social media creates transparency in a particular moment of any political, financial, technological, geopolitical, economic, social, environmental, educational, ecological, etc. condition or occurrence.

The accelerated flow of global information presents challenges for all of us to remain in the core of hope and faith.

It tests our resolve to live in a state of homeostasis, strengthening our steadfastness to monitor the thoughts, feelings, emanating from our mental construct.

Yet. this practice is the determinant of a life lived in joy or dread. Some will say this is denial. This is not a head in the sand admonition. For if we choose to be positive, to see the universe as a friendly, caring place, our frequency rises. Quantum physics demonstrates like energy attracts like. We raise ourselves to the place of security, safety, community.

There is ONE Immutable Truth, yet ad infinitum perspectives.

Considering our perspective is our reality, it behooves us to be a keen observer of our chronic and habitual way of thinking.

“Everything you see or hear or experience in any way at all is specific to you. You create a universe by perceiving it, so everything in the universe you perceive is specific to you.” – Douglas Adams

If we are unhappy with our lives, ‘tis time to change our story about life.

For life simply and faithfully mirrors our thoughts, which are our perceptions, opinions and belief system.

Where did your reality come from? Is it yours or did it come from your family, education, religion, friends, community?

Can you honestly say your opinion, perception, your perspective originates from your heart and soul and not that of another  system, (family, education, religion, friends, work) or peer group?

Try this exercise:

Shall we try an exercise? What do you think about age and aging? What do you think about a human in their 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond? Chances are you are affected by mass consciousness, media, common opinion that age is unfortunate, debilitating, sad, dependent, painful, ill, ugliness, diminishing energy and opportunity.

Where did you get this idea from? Perhaps the old people whom are burdened with this absolutely oppressing concept and therefore reflect it. But there are many who will not succumb to the limitations of aging and are living productive, fruitful, adventurous lives into their centenarian years.

It is a choice, a decision which comes from within, from the programming we allow to download and become part of the hard drive stored in the neural pathways of our brain. Those pathways are continuously hungering for more of what created them.

If you saw this picture without the elephant you may think the antelope had long legs, perhaps your perspective would change as the elephant joined the picture.

Our perspective changes as we allow new information and images to enter our minds.

Thus the consummate significance of adopting an open, childlike, humble mind is at the core of expansion of consciousness and awareness. We do not build synapses in our brain of fear, anxiety, and despair which will always look for the same.

There is always choice, there is always hope, there is always a chance to move ourselves into higher realms of living.

It begins by recognizing, through the messages of our physiology, biology, psychology, chemical system we have entered in to the stress response. Our logic and intuition is shut down by the flood of hormones from the adrenal medulla, the fight or flight response.

Our system is filled with adrenaline and cortisol resulting in: rapid heart beat, contracted muscles, digestion shut down, shallow breathing, sweating, change in sugar resistance etc. We know we have departed our balanced state by the changes in our body.

The quintessential focus and question  is – which mental construct do you find yourself in? What reality or world will you create by belief? Which one are you coded to and respond to? The empowerment code or the powerless one?

What is Your Code?

Find out what fires your coding, if you are unhappy with the results, be determined to change the triggering process. Adamantly and precisely state this “pattern no longer serves me” and you will not engage nor be available for that program.

Each time the occasion arises, before the spiral starts, change you code to be activated by higher vibrations, you can do this, empower yourself, you are not powerless.

Awakened:

This is what being awakened means, attune yourself to daily align with what gives meaning and purpose to your heart. Be gentle with yourself when you are in the old pattern and realize you have simply been lulled back into sleep by your life’s desires and dramas.

Be vigilant about the old patterns and beliefs currently running your thoughts/life. Ask yourself the question, ” Do I feel a release of freedom or are you resigned to the same old same old, uttering “This is how it’s always been done; or this is who I am; nothing can change.”

We have choice, we must not run from the dark, it is a lower vibration of the One Energy that wants to return to the Light. Be determined, vigilant, clear and know, “you are the master of your destiny and fate.” It is up to your resolve and courage to lift yourself up where you belong.

In hope and faith,
